VERITIS LUX CONSULTING, trading as Veritís Lux Consulting (“we”, “us”), is a Texas limited liability company providing lead conversion, customer relationship management, and communications automation services to local businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything else you type into a form on this site or tell us on a call.
- Enquiry content: what you tell us about your business, your goals, and the problems you want solved.
- Communications: emails, text messages, and call records exchanged with us. Calls may be recorded where we tell you so at the time and where the law permits.
Information collected automatically
- Standard web-server information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site working and secure.
- This site does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling.
Text messaging (SMS)
This section governs SMS and is the one most people are looking for.
- Consent. We send text messages only to people who have given express written consent, by ticking the SMS consent box on a form on this site or by otherwise explicitly opting in. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchasing anything from us.
- What we send. Replies to your enquiry, appointment confirmations and reminders, and service-related updates about work we are doing for you.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies with the conversation. We do not send recurring marketing blasts to people who contacted us through this website.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier plan. We do not charge you for messages.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop all further texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below. Opting out of SMS does not remove you from email, and does not affect any service you have purchased.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- No sharing for marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Numbers are shared only with the service providers listed below, strictly to deliver the messages you asked for.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and schedule conversations.
- To provide, operate, and support the services you engage us for.
- To send service-related notices, invoices, and account information.
- To keep records required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.
- To protect the security and integrity of our systems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We use a small number of vendors to run the business. They process information only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us:
- Our customer relationship and messaging platform provider: customer relationship management, forms, scheduling, email, and SMS delivery. Form submissions and message content are stored in our account with this provider. We will name this provider on request.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and delivery.
- Google LLC: business email.
- Telecommunications carriers: to deliver SMS and voice traffic.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
Retention
We keep enquiry and client information for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and afterwards only for as long as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to end SMS.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Email us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. We honour verified requests regardless of whether a particular law applies to you.
Security
We use reputable providers, restrict access to client data to the people who need it, and keep credentials out of source code and shared documents. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
Our services are for businesses. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated directly where we can.
